EXPLORER CHAMPAGNE TOUR

With a flexible schedule and with your dedicated private guide, you will uncover some secret gems of the Vallée de la Marne. This tour focuses on a more intimate side of the Champagne region. It will give you the opportunity to meet 2 or 3 authentic small or medium-size champagne makers in typical villages of the Marne river valley and discover their estate. You will be able to admire beautiful panoramic views. Your guide will tell you the tales and the legacy of its most famous characters. After lunch in or near Epernay, discover the church of the ancient abbey of Dom Pérignon. Explore the finest scenic views of the Marne river Valley. You will additionally be able to choose between several options, such as an additional multiple tasting session, or you may prefer to visit a local chocolate maker, a small single malt maker, a walk in the vineyards or in the forest, or even see a local escargot farm... CHAMPAGNE TASTING TOUR

This tour focuses more on comparative tasting sessions, rather than on cellar tours, vineyards or history. You will be able to taste a large variety of delicious Champagne in selected boutique wineries and traditional growers’ estates, from traditional blending to rare vintages of great complexity and richness. We can visit up to 4/5 different wineries in one day, meet owners and local champagne experts, to get an in-depth understanding of what makes champagne sparkling wines so special. You will also get the opportunity to discover Ratafia de Champagne, a unique grape liqueur, originally made by the winemakers for themselves since the 13th century. On request, we are also happy organise food pairing (from small snacks to gourmet lunch).
